40,000 individuals are going to attend the national examination on memorization of the Quran and Quranic concepts.

TEHRAN, Iran (AhlulBayt News Agency) - 40,000 individuals are going to attend the national examination on memorization of the Quran and Quranic concepts.

This is according to Morteza Khedmatkar Arani an official with the Center for Coordination, Development and Promotion of Quranic Activities.

He said the examination would begin at 8:30 a.m. in cities across the country. In Tehran, it will be held at Alborz High School.

“40,000 individuals will be taking the examination including 4500 from Lorestan Province, 3500 from Isfahan Province and 1500 from Tehran Province.”

Mr. Arani said that the exam will have two stages, oral and written, and that the results will be announced late in November.
